Restore your marble — don't replace it
Etch marks, foot-traffic lanes, scratches, and a cloudy haze are all signs marble has lost its finish. Replacing stone in Hawaii is expensive and disruptive. Restoration achieves the same result — or better — at a fraction of the cost, with no demolition. With over 20 years of island experience, our technicians grind, hone, and polish stone back to its original luster.
We restore marble and natural stone floors, countertops, vanities, stairs, lobbies, and showers for homes, resorts, condos, and commercial properties throughout Honolulu and Oahu.
Stone we restore
Restoration technique varies by stone, and our team is trained across the full range found in Hawaii's homes and resorts:
- Marble — floors, countertops, vanities, showers & stairs
- Travertine & limestone — honing, filling, and polishing
- Terrazzo — lobbies, entryways, and mid-century floors
- Granite — restoring shine to dull or worn counters and floors
- Onyx & specialty stone — delicate, high-value surfaces
Honing vs. polishing — what your marble needs
Honing uses progressively finer diamond abrasives to physically remove etching, scratches, and worn traffic lanes, leveling the surface to a smooth, even matte. Polishing then refines that surface through multiple stages to your desired sheen — from a soft satin to a full high-gloss mirror finish. Most projects need both: we hone out the damage, then polish to match the look you want. During the free assessment we'll tell you exactly which your stone needs.
Built for Hawaii's climate
Salt air, humidity, hard water, and sunscreen and oils tracked in from the beach and pool are uniquely hard on Hawaii stone — and they're exactly what dulls and etches marble over time. Two decades restoring stone across Oahu means we know how the islands' conditions wear each surface, and we finish every restoration with a premium sealer to slow it down.
